Description
The Budelse Brouwerij (Budels Brewery) is a family business that still values the traditions that have guided the brewery for centuries now. It's been at the very heart of the village of Budel in Brabant since 1870. Founded 150 years ago by Gerardus Arts as Brouwerij de Hoop (the Hope Brewery). Today, the fourth generation of the Arts family is at the helm and we are just as committed to the brewing as our ancestors.

Bottle @ my faculty. Cloudy citrus-yellow coloured, creamy white head. Aroma of citrus, sweet wheat. Flavour is sweet, citrus, wheat. Medium-bodied. A bit too sweet and not refreshing enough for a witbier.

Bottle: Clear, amber coloured, small off-white foamy layer; malty, toasted nose with a touch of coriander - even though it is not stated on the label - and a subtle fruitiness in the back; moderate to stronger sweet flavour with a light bitterness, medium bodied; bitterness increases towards the short-nutty finish. A warming, not too exciting brew..........

Bottled(300ml). -Hazy yellow coloured, medium to big white head, spicy nose with touch of vanilla. Fruity and very spicy (coriander) with orange peel and lemony acidic notes. Some light coriander in the aftertaste, but a bit too watery palate. Pleasant and refreshing.
