Draught at Rock Bottom - Denver, on April 11, 2014.As of the board this day at 8.2% ABV.A bit hazy golden color, white head. Acidic, spicy, alcohol, dry taste. Dry, spicy, clove aftertaste. Fizzy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Also banana aftertaste. Sweet, spicy, clove, banana scent.

On tap @ Rock Bottom Denver. Pours a dark brown appearance with a dark brown head. Quite roasty coffee, slightly bitter earthy, vanilla, somewhat spicy aroma. A touch fruity and acidic and sort of has a cheap burnt coffee taste. Some chocolate, milk/vanilla, and herbal notes. Decent but a little disappointing.

On tap @ Rock Bottom Denver. Pours a bit hazy reddish orange appearance with a thin light brown head. Dark fruity, grape, orange, somewhat nutty, toffee aroma. Actually quite tasty, cocoa/caramel bar, vanilla, slight fruity flavor. 7% booze doesn’t come through at all. Best Scottish Ale I’ve had in ages.

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small longlasting white head. Has a fruity grassy weak grapefruit hoppy aroma. Fruity malty hoppy grapefruit flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy bitter grapefruit finish.
