Bottle as Hap & Harry’s Tennessee Lager. Clear very pale yellow color, big fluffy white head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of dusty straw, white pepper. Taste is lightly peppery lemon, moderately bitter finish. Not bad.

12 ounce bottle from East End Liquors, Knoxville. Pours a slightly hazy amber color. Thin white head, fair head retention. Aroma of grainy malts. Same with the taste. Maybe a faint bit of nuttiness and non-descript bitter hops. Thin bodied, clean. Not much going on here.

12 oz. bottle. Hazy pale color, white head, nose is typical lager yeast with corn. Taste is mostly like any other lager. Yet, the taste doesn’t have any harsh adjunct notes that is found in other Macro lager. This is clean and very respectable. Simple and rather smooth.

Bottle. Pours a clear pale gold with a fizzy white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has a note of sweet stale corn as well as musty bread and no hop character. Flavor was similar with a stale corn note and musty sweet bread. Thin.

A golden lager with a thin white head. In aroma, a pissy grassy malt with light catty notes. In mouth, a crisp malt with light corn notes, very boring. On tap at Knoxville Brewer’s Jam, Oct. 22 2011.
