Bottle, yellow wax. Pours opaque black, medium brown head, good lacing. Aroma is roast, earth, molasses, baking cocoa. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter. Full body, lingering bitterness.

16 oz. Aroma has notes of cantaloupe, crackery malt, flowers, blueberry, lemon. Pours lightly hazy golden with a two finger off-white head with excellent retention. Taste is moderately bitter and lightly sweet, finishing very dry. Nice nontraditional pils.

Bottle. Pours opaque black, small tan head, good lacing. Aroma is rich cocoa, vanilla, hint of coconut, bourbon. Flavor is merlin plus sweet, light plus bitter. Full body, rich. Coconut has faded, but the beer remains solid.

473 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter, thanks to my niece. ABV is 8%. Opaque dirty yellow colour, large to moderate white head. Aroma of pine, pineapple and other tropical fruits, citrus. Flavour with the same elements as the aroma, medium sweet. Decent bitterness.
