12/11/2019. Can, sample, courtesy of Saxo & co. Pours murky pale dull orange gold with a small bubbly white head. Aroma of citrus, hops, pomelo, passion fruit, hay and light herb and a touch of resin. Medium plus sweetness, light but developing bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Nice.

Sampled from 0.355 l can. Slightly hazy, amber with a white head. Sweetish, slightly sourish, gently fruity aroma of lemon, rhubarb and some raspberries. Slightly sweet, gently sour, quite fruity taste of lemon, rhubarb and some raspberries, followed by a short, gently tart finish. Thin to medium body, slightly astringent and gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Well-balanced, mellow Berliner Weisse.

Spritziger, moderat säuerlicher Beginn. Himbeeren, spritzig, die Säure nimmt schnell ab. Weich würziger Abgang, runder fruchtig. Gut. 10/11/12/11/10/11

Very heavy on the tart apricot puree, so much so it detracts from the pretty good West-meets-East IPA underneath. Grapefruit, melon, mint, mango, and pine are backed up by a firm mineral bitterness, but the apricot adds a sour underripe backbone almost yeasty in its bite. Leads to a off-kilter fade, one trying to match fresh jammy fruit with a pronounced bitterness, with not entirely successful results.
