Description
The Columbus Brewing Company was originally founded in 1830. In 1988, the name was once again chosen to resurrect the proud brewing heritage of its namesake.

Our Brewmaster brings years of experience to the brewery including an apprenticeship with a German-trained Brewmaster, completed the Master Brewers progam at U.C. Davis, and brewing at several breweries throughout North America.

We are dedicated to exploring the flavors of American hops, subtleties of German-style lagers, the intensity of barrel-aged beers & everything in between.

The aroma consists of pineapple, yeast, coconut and malt. Medium body with flavors of pineapple, toasted coconut, spice and malt. The finish is fruity with a pineapple and coconut aftertaste. Interesting tiki-inspired beer, above average overall.

RE payment day! Can, clear pale with a nice white foamy head. Nose is rather sharp IPA hops, almost a slight veggie olfactory. First taste is definately sharpeer hops, almost astringent with a perfumey aftertaste. Yes, think about tasting somebody's neck who has perfume all over it. Weird fer sher. Every swig leaves that unearthly taste on the palate. Not very appealing I'd say. Some co2 but needs a little more to help you forget its bitter and sharp as all hell. I know what this is but it would be nice to have more alky content to at least pay for the flavor, rude.
