Bottle from Beerdome. Hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, apricot and light bretty. Flavor is medium sweet and light acidic. Dry and light acidic finish. 130620

Smell-weak, bit to medium, malt, bit of roast and acidic tones, faint cofee. Foam- thin, acidic, sour, malt, som,e odd taste. Head is tiny dark brown color. Appearance- generic black bottle cap, simple bottle. Black color, very little carbonation. From - snifter Taste - sour-sweet-malty. Feels messy for me, feels off, and well before BBD...no thanks.

Smell-weak, hops, malt, a bit fruity Foam- thin, acidic, hops, citrus, some fruits, some citrus bit of malt, then bitter hops. Head is small, white, or creamy white color. Sticks. Appearance- generic black bottle cap, but I like the label, ominous look to it. Clear orange, red amber, tea color, weak carbonation. From - snifter Taste - sweet, malt, fruits, then hops and bitter hops what again calm down. Bit fruity and some caramel, hops are to the upper part of my comfort but do not disturb me.

Tap filled to bottle. Smell-weak malt, roast. Foam- thin, malty, sour, coffee remains, acidic tones. Head is small, medium-dark brown color. Appearance- Very dark brown, but basically black weak, bit to medium carbonation. From - snifter Taste - malty, acidic with weak roast and sour notes. The aftertaste is weak sour and malt, acidic. Nothing special, but not terrible. Not for me.

330ml bottle [once again one of those waxed bottles with material so fucking crumbly that it strays all over the place as you try to release the cap]. Opaque, darkest brown colour with late awakening, small, creamy, fading, minimally lacing, off-white to beige head. Roasty, dark malty aroma, notes of burnt caramel, whiffs of plum and alcohol, an earthy touch of old leather, leathery roast beef. Taste is bitter, alcoholic and roasty dark malty, notes of burnt caramel, a touch of Bourbon, old leather, shoe sole, unspiced, leathery roast beef. Not much complexity, rather a conglomerate of off-flavours. Nope.
