33cl bottle. Pours close to completely clear deep golden with a modest, off-white head. Fruity and piney with citrus, caramel and hints of herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with medium flavour intensity and ditto bitterness. Quite enjoyable.

Tap at koht. Pours orange. Aroma and flavor are sour, fruity, mango, dill. Not an ipa in any way. Fruit-Dill beer maybe

Tap @ Koht, Tallinn. Pours creamy orange, some white foam on the top. Tart fruits in the nose, some lacto and a hint of vanilla bitterness as well. Taste has more of that vanilla and more of that lacto, feels a bit like a fake orange juice. Tartness is there for sure, not really getting lychee. Creamy and soft mouthfeel, in the spirit of the best sour fruit soup IPA's. Overall quite happy about this, this lacto IPA style is not my favorite but Nurme has nailed this one.

Bottle. Color: Hazy dark amber, thin off-white head. Pretty light for a Barleywine. Aroma: Dark fruit, raisins, toffee. Taste: Medium sweet, fruity, raisins, red and dark fruit, toffee, sweetish and herbal Rum notes and pretty subtle Bourbon and vanilla notes. Long lasting bittery fruity finish. Medium to over medium body, pretty thin for a Barleywine. Under average carbonation. Pretty strange, one part of me dislikes this beer because it's too thin, too much red fruit, too sweet and herbal while the other part of me still likes the taste of this beer. Overall it's an unusual taste and it's ok, but not one of my favourites.

Vervelende wax. Overal wax nu. Versplinterde als een malle. Maar wel een goeie brandy barrel aged stout in 't glas. En dat is ook wat waard.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, rough, off-white head. Boozy, woody nose - in all honesty it mostly reminds me of whisky. Delicious. Rich, sweet, malty roast with some salty licorice, and again these warming whisky notes. It's really delicious, but it suffers from the lack of carbnation. But the barrel aging is done fine and neat - although I still get more of a whisky feeling....070519
