Description
Outer Range Brewing is a community-driven microbrewery in the small mountain town of Frisco, Colorado. Co-founder and Head Brewer Lee Cleghorn’s love of craft beer began when he lived in Belgium as a teenager, where the first beers he ever drank were world-class Belgian ales. That background has served as inspiration for his IPAs, which showcase the ester profile of these traditionally hop-forward beers. A graduate of the American Brewers Guild Brewing Science and Engineering school in Vermont, Lee runs Outer Range with his wife and co-founder Emily, who is the Chief Marketing Officer and leads the brewery’s branding, marketing, and sales efforts. They met while homebrewing beer together ten years ago, and today, brew for and with a passionate community who lives at the intersection of craft beer and the outdoor mountain lifestyle.

Pours a hazy, pineapple yellow, with smallish head. Aroma has gasoline, onion, citrus and tropical fruits. Flavor is gasoline, citrus and tropical fruit, some pine/spruce hop bitterness towards the finish.

Can. An unclear golden beer with a lazing yellowish head. The aroma has notes of citrus fruits, spices, malt, hops, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, citrus fruits, spices, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Pours a hazy, pale lemon yellow, with smallish head. Aroma is dank, with tropical fruit, some cheese, a touch of onion. Flavor follows, with some citrus notes and a finish marked by bitter, pine/spruce hops.

Pours a cloudy straw yellow colour and a stiff snow-white head with good retention. Aroma's: tropical fruit and dank hops. Retronasal it's sweetish, tropical fruit, resinous, bitterish. Flavour is rather sweet with a hint of bitter. Medium bodied. Light hopburn. Finishes slightly caramel sweet with a hint of bitter. Nice, albeit on the sweet side.
