Sampled from a 12 oz brow bottle this beer poured a black color with a large foamy dark tan head that left decent lacing. The aroma was cola, licorice and touches of wood and cherry. The flavor was sweet, tangy and malty with notes of molasses, toffee, cola, cherry and nut and a somewhat vegetal undertone. Medium length malty finish with lingering molasses, cola and cherry. Medium body. Ok.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear amber color with a large white head. A fruity and dusty nose. The flavor is somewhat odd but nice: sweet caramel; light fruit; very dusty; dry. A bit bitter and maybe some butter creeping in. Not bad.

Bottle shared by jcwattsrugger. Pours black with tan head. Nose/taste of cocoa, muted spice and black malt. Hints of lightly smoked malts. Light to medium body. Okay.
