Bad Shepherd Beer Company is the brewery for Black Sheep Burrito & Brews restaurant and is located at their Charleston location. There are Black Sheep locations in Charleston and Huntington West Virginia. Eleven house-brewed beers on tap means that aside from flagship beer The Loud, and popular How Ewe Doin? Cream Ale, there are new brews constantly rotating through the other taps. A barrel program turns out a variety of sour ales and the occasional whiskey-barrel aged stout.

Keg at Black Bear. Hazy bronze, large dense creamy tan head, good retention. Aroma of resin, earth, pine, pale malt. Taste is tropical fruit, pine, resin, pale malt. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness. As little off balance and muddled.

On tap at Blacksheep Charleston. Hazy golden with big white head. Aroma is light herbal hops, medium body, medium/well carbonated, and good small-bubble lacing. Taste is citrus hops and slightly bitter finish.
