Description
Wicklow Wolf was established in late 2014 after the meeting of two likeminded friends with a common interest in good beer. Quincey Fennelly and Simon Lynch both fell in love with craft beer while living in California for many years. Setting up a brewery together was always inevitable.

Bottle @ Højbjerg tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, peanuts, chocolate, caramel, hops and has a nice roasty finish.

Can @ Saxo tasting. Clear dark brown with a beige head. Aroma is sweet, roasted malt, chocolate and peanut butter. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. 050621

Can @Last Højbjerg Tasting in Højbjerg. Very dark red brown, beige head. Roasted malt aroma, a little choc but really any peanuts. Bittersweet flavour, roast, caramel and chocolate. Again not really any peanuts or peanut butter.

Creamy ljght brown good mostly lasting head. Black colour. Moderate maltynand light hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor. A verage light bitter finish. Oily palate.

Ruby amber with no head. Aroma of warm red wine. Flavour is dry red wine, rum notes, wood on a warm oak base. Dry wine finish.

Can at home, Nivala. Enjoyed straight from the can. Aromas and flavours: Nuts, chocolate, milk choholate... pretty much I was expecting.

330ml can from Monster and Beer, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a hazy golden orange colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head. The aroma is grainy malt, tropical citrus fruits. The flavour is moderate to light bitter and sweet, with a crisp, light, slightly watery, passionfruit, mango, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

440ml can at home. Thick, milky deep brown almost black pour with a thin to medium tan head. Muted aroma of citrus, chocolate, slight coffee note. Flavour is also meek, light tropical fruit, bland chocolate. Soft carbonation.

330ml can at School of Animals, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a mostly lasting frothy, light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, creamy caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, caramel, liqourice, light chocolate, light coffee palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
