Can from beerclub. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of boozy cake. Flavour is toasted coffee malt, sweet desert, warm booze base, tangy coffee malt dry finish.

Keg at BrewDog Leicester. Couldn't find much information on this, assuming it's an imperial version of their Wildfire Hoppy Red. It's dark brownish red, clear with a thin layer of beige head and lots of lacing. I'm getting the cooking spice and tea tannins of Sorachi Ace on the aroma, and it's hard to get much else. Taste is strongly sweet, tannic and spicy, leading to a long scratchy (can 'scratchy' be a flavour? it is here) finish. A lovely strong red.

Brownish black with a solid tan head. Aroma of chocolate orange. Flavour is powdered chocolate, soft grapefruit, roast dark chocolate, bitter fruit base.

Black with a tan head. Aroma of vanilla roast malt. Flavour is sweet cake with a boozy vanilla jump. Dry roast malt base , light milk finish.
