A red-brown beer with a fine light brown head. The aroma is malty with notes of caramel and roasted malt. The flavor is deliciously roasted with notes of roasted bread and caramel leading up to a dry hoppy end.

Bottled (BB 12/2004)
Golden lager color, small white head, some lace. Ashy aroma. Flavor is sweet, maybe it has hints of floral hoppiness, medium-bodied. A bit sugary aftertaste. Similar to Russian lagers. Drinkable but easy to forget.

Canned (BB 12/2004)
Pale yellow with a decent white head. Aroma has boiled vegetables and is harsh and metallic. Sweet, malty with harsh alcohol lingering in the mouth. Oily mouthfeel and bitter aftertaste. Similar to low-quality Baltic lagers.

Canned. Golden colour, airy head. Grainy nose. Sweet and fruity. A hint of substance takes the edge of the wateriness. Syrupy finish with no bitterness.

Canned. Near black, beige head. Light chocolate aroma. Light bodied and very roasty with a touch of coffee. One of the best 3.5% beers that Spendrups has ever made.

Beautiful reddish amber colour, shame about the weak head. Malty toffee and liquorice aroma. More toffe and liquorice in the flavour.
