Bottle from Hotel Clarion, Östersund. A very decent flavoured berliner weisse where the coconut really comes through. Not synthetic like many coco flavoured ones. Yeast heavy.

330ml Bottle - Black with a tan head. Pine, orange, fudge and some soapy notes in the aroma. Hoppy, roasted and fairly soapy taste with fudge, liquorice, pine, coffee and citrus.

Tap at Clarion Hotel, Östersund (Maltfestival). A very smooth beer coming from this collab. On the yeasty / Belgian side of a NEIPA. Easy drinkin.

Tap at Bishops Arms, Östersund (Maltfestivalen). A really nice black IPA to be honest, quite impressed. Strikes a good balance (24/2/19) ------ Tap at Captain Cook, Östersund. Nice blending of grassy hops and malty darkness. I think its great. 3.5 to 3.7. (17/2/22) ----- Can at Captain Cooks, Östersund. 3.7 to 3.5. (10/10/24) ---- Tap, fresh at the Oktoberfest party in Östersund. This beer was remarkbale this time around. Such fruity hops dancing off against deep black malt. The perfect combo that only the best black IPAs get right but when they do its got to be one of the best styles. 3.5 to 4.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Black, rich fluffy head. Restrained aroma of coffee and licorice. Mid sweet with medium to full body and rounded, oily mouthfeel. Caramel and salmiak. Mid bitter finish.
