Historien om The Piraya Brewery börjar 2013 när vi, grundarna Calle och Tomas, började diskussionen om att starta ett bryggeri i den vackra staden Strömstad. Inspirerat av det gamla bryggeriet i staden beslutades det slutligen 2016 för att återuppta bryggeritraditionen. Senast det bryggdes öl i Strömstad var 1955. The Piraya Brewery för nu tradition och kunskap vidare. Känn historiens vingslag av en "Bränngó öl från Norra Bohuslän". Nu ska vi göra vårt bästa att tillverka god öl till många människor.

A quite fine and tasty ipa. Cloudy yellow pour with a solid white head that leaves a nice lacing down the sides of the glass. Good intensity in the aroma. Quite dry this one, and a fine duration Grapefruit hoppy, grassy, mild fruity and some pine in the flavor. [On tap at Göstases in Strömstad, Sweden]

Decent easy drinkable typical neipa. Cloudy yellow and an ok head. Fine mellow hop profile. Also fruity and some pine. Decent tail. Easy to drink. Quite session able. [On tap at En Öl & Whiskymässa i Göteborg 2019, Sweden]

Bottle at a tasting, thanks guys! Assertive caramel presence, moderate body, med-high bitterness, moderate resiny grassy hops chaeacter. Good one, classic American impression.

Bottle kindly donated by Cunningham, many thanks. Amber color with medium beige head. Aroma of caramel, citrus hops. Taste, caramel malt, citrus hops it’s zest, pines. Medium long hoppy bitter finish.

Bottle at tasting with Cuso, MisoW and Gurthnar. Hoppy aroma, malty notes, resin, light caramel. Tastes the same as aroma, medium bitter. Medium body, hoppy caramel bittet finish. Ok.
