Burk från SB. Trevlig med rejäl kropp, väl avvägd sötma och med lite bett i beskan. Snygg tolkning av stilen även om jag kan sakna några nyanser i maltsmakerna.

Canned, from Systembolaget. Clear nut brown, small head. Aroma of apples, caramel and leaves. Mid sweet with medium body rounded mouthfeel. Leafs, earth and cooked vegetables. Mid bitter finish.

Can 33 cl. Pours a clear, reddish brown with a tiny, rough, beige head. Toffee and caramel aroma paired with quite some caramel. Rich body, nuts and burned caramel, sweet toffee and alcohol - rustic and solid. Lowish carbonation. Warming alcohol finish with some bitterness. Lovely old school Barley Wine. 191125

Can 33 cl. Pours cloudy and almost opaque orangey golden with a smallish, off-white head. Fruity nose with a hint of corn. Medium body, fruity, citrusy with quite some sweetness and a very bitter finish. 191125

Can 33 cl. Pours a hazy, reddish amber with a rough, beige head. Greasy, uncleam hop aroma atop some crystal malts. Medium body dry biscuit and crystal malts with an edge of the same tang as in the nose. Dry, slightly bitter finish. 191125

Can 33 cl. Pours amber with a slight haze and a lacing, off-white head. Fun bubblegummy, slightly perfumy aroma. Medium body, slightly sweet bubblegum notes and no real bitterness. Not bad but far from what I'd call a Bitter. 191125

Thanks omhper! Hazy deep orange colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is floral, herbal, mild nectary tones too. Flavour is herbal, floral, some mild earthy and a bit toasted tones to it.

(Draft at Akkurat, Stockholm, 4 Aug 2025) Cloudy yellow colour with lasting, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of citrus, grapefruit and pine needles. Fruity, hoppy taste with citrus, mango, grapefruit, pineapple, pine needles, herbs, rosemary and a mild citric/piney bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Fresh and juicy. Nice one.
