Nolia Umeå 2018. Hazy ambery brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is mild spiciness, some toffee and alcohol, but also has a rather strong element of green apple skins. Flavour is alcohol, spiciness, mild toffee, green apples and also some herbal tones. Apples don't fit in here at all, making the brew not-so-enjoyable.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Black colour, mediumsized brown head. Aroma is mild lingonberries, some alcohol, liquorice, and strawberries. Flavour is liquorice, some roasted tones, marzipan and some alcohol sweetness with mild red berries. Fermented quite dry, but still silky smooth palate. Alcohol isn't boozy at all in this one.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Yellowish golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is earthy, grainy, yeasty and some buttery tones. Flavour is buttery, grainy, earthy and some grassy notes with some herbs.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep amber colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, floral and some mild toffeeish tones with a wee bit of alcohol. Flavour is fruity, some alcohol, mild toffee and quite much dried fruits with some toffee and plum pudding. With a wee bit more spiciness this would be totally kick ass and up my alley.

Sample (thanks omhper!). Deep golden colour, small slightly off-white head. Aroma is floral, some fruity, mild herbal and earthy tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some mild nutty and some biscuity tones to it. Could be more bitter, but I like the malty body in this one.

Draught@Nolia Beer Fest. Amber colour with a longlasting mediumsized foamy white head. Aroma is cookies, some pine, floral and fruity tones. Flavour is fruity, floral, some resin and pine along with some herbal and mild biscuity crisp maltiness.

Purple colour with no head. Aroma is black currant, some herbs, mild honey, a bit resiny tones too. Flavour is black currant, some honey, herbs and wood. Nicely tartish sweet mead.

Yellowish golden colour with no head. Aroma is honey, some slight floral and nectary tones. Flavour is nectar, some floral and mild alcohol tones to it. Smooth and pleasantly balanced mead.
