330ml Bottle (Bishops Arms, Västerås) - Copper with a foamy head. Malty, nutty and earthy notes feature prominently in both the aroma and the taste although some notes of toffee can be detected in the taste too.

Sample @ SMÖF. Tastes like someone has poured some soda into a beer... sweet and thin. Lager-like bitterness in the aftertaste.

Bottle sample at SMÖF. Pours red pink. Tart, thin taste of raspberry punch with a little beer.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms, Västerås. Murky dark brown, small head. Bready nose with toffee and marzipan. Sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Hay, grains, cookies, banana and marzipan, some chocolate or toffee. Mid bitter finish with mild peppery heat.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms, Västerås. Murky amber, creamy head. Fruity nose hiding passionfruit and pink grapefruit. Mid sweet with medium body and rounded mouthfeel. Passionfruit, lychee and white pepper. Mid bitter finish.

Bottled at Bishop’s Arms, Västerås. Hazy golden, creamy head. Aroma of marzipan, banana and elderflowers. Sweet with medium-full body and dense, rounded mouthfeel. Sugar, marzipan and dough. Mid bitter finish. Too sweet, otherwise harmonious.

33cl bottle @ Bishop’s arms, Västerås. Bryggdatum 2016-05-06. Poured deep golden color with a thick white head, lasting. Very malty, rye, caramel, Belgian yeast in aroma. Some mild raspberries as well. Hides abv well, mostly some warmth. Not that sweet. Bready, malty, dark fruity, hoppy flavors. Tasty, quite massive.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Hornstull, Stockholm. Black with beige head. Aroma of ouzo and gingersnaps. Very sweet with full body and rounded, sticky mouthfeel. Caramel, salmiak, peppery alcohol and nutmeg. Alcohol prominent in the finish.

Bottled at Bishops Arms Hornstull, Stockholm. Very dark brown, mid sized beige head. Milk chocolate, tobacco and balsamic raspberries up front. Mid sweet with full body and rounded mouthfeel. Brandy, milk chocolate and raspberries. Warming finish. Nice and rich.

Bottle at Bishops Arms Hornsgatan. Hazy amber with a white head. Sweet with dried fruit, licorice, malt and warming alcohol. The finish was quite dry. Drinkable but not in a perfect balance.
