Crowler, shared at Northern Monk. Super hazy gold. Film of white. Nose has grapefruit and mango juice. Hint of stone fruit. Creamy malts. Some lemon twang. Some bright clementine. Taste is clean and bright, zesty, citrusy bitter. Some pulpy sweetness. Light, juicy mouthfeel. Soft carbonation. Long, light, juicy citrus finish.

Good yellowish, dense head, disappearing over hazy orangey yelllow beer. Frutiy hops, lunaria, unripe nectarine, unripe grapes. Sharpish bitter flavour, oakgalls, lunaria. Astringent, wry, dry. Medium bodied. Oakgall bitterness is not really wanted - too slanted beer. The more as the blurb suggests a totally different taste and texture. Fruity? Let alone shortcake. 7/4/6/3/12

On tap at Hops & Pie, pours a cloudy opaque bright golden with a small white head. Aroma is very juicy, with lots of stone fruits, piney hops, light dankness and biscuity malt on the underside. Flavour is massively juicy, with tons of juicy tropical fruits, even some sweetness from the fruits, resinous and piney hop oils. So damn juicy. Delicious.

On tap at First Draft, pours a deep dark brown / black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out salted notes, toasted malt, and bready malt. Flavour is rather sweet, with lots of sweet caramel, medium saltiness and toasted malt. Like a desert. Fun stuff, but nothing serious.
