500ml bottle from K-Supermarket Kamppi, Helsinki. Pours dark orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of earthy notes, grass, pine, stingy fruitiness, hints of stuffy berries. Taste is crisp, hoppy and grassy with some pine, citrus, stingy fruits and earthiness. Finish is crisp, bitter and fruity with some harsh hoppiness, hints of earthiness and mineraly notes. Decent, but a bit unbalanced.

At first the aroma of alcohol hit me and I was starting to think that these wooden chips steeped in bourbon have made it worse. However in a glas after warming there is a very pleasant vanilla note, some hints of bourbon and black malts. The beer is rather dry and with strongly burnt malts leaving tar bitterness in aftertaste which at first for me was also unpleasant. With warming the palate gets richer (or maybe I have became accustomed to this roastiness which I normally dislike in stouts) and Night Fever appears to be an interesting strong FES (or lighter Imperial Stout) with complex tastes and distinctive tannines and vanilla from mentioned chips. This is an advantage as many beers have wooden chips on etiquette and there is no way to feel them in the taste of the beer - here they are real deal. Maybe its one of the best FES or IS but from light IS released recently by Polish craft breweries I think it stands out. As always in the case of Raduga it is supplemented by wonderful artwork. Overall interesing and I would recommend it.

Bottle (shared by fatphil, thanks). Pours golden-amber with whiteish head. The head doesn’t stay. Aroma is sour, diacetyl, fruits, alcohol. Flavor is sweet and bitter, some malt, fruits, sugar. Finish is dry bitter. Overall: drinkable.

Butelka 0.5l (10.08.2016 / 1). Piwo praktycznie klarowne o bursztynowej barwie. Piana biała, obfita, ładnie zdobi szkło. Aromat wyraźny, słodkawy, dość intensywny z nutami żywicznymi na pierwszym planie i cytrusowymi schowanymi nieco dalej. Po ogrzaniu wychodzi delikatny mosaic. Goryczka średnia, żywiczna, bardzo zwiewna, niezalegająca. Piwo lekkie w odczuciu, nieco wodniste, rześkie jak na sesyjne przystało z bardzo fajnie wyważoną goryczką choc mogłoby mieć ciut więcej ciała. Aromat oferował dużo więcej, smak zostaje trochę za nim.
