Flip-top bottle (330ml) Deep golden to light amber coloured, huge fluffy head, slowly diminishing, slightly hazy; honeyish, slightly caramelly, dusty-grainy nose with a faint yeasty touch; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; bitter-sweet, a bit tart finish. A rather bitter bitter example of the Zwickel style, not unpleasant at all.......

(33cl swing top bottle, bought at the brewery) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized foamy white head. Sweet pale malty, strawy aroma with a balanced herbal hoppy blend with an present but not disturbing alcoholic note. Sweet flavour, full-bodied with a smooth carbonation. Malt-accented, strawy and chewy taste; sweetish, malty and alcoholic, but also warming finish with shy hoppy notes. A bit sticky pale Doppelbock, that could be less sweet and a bit more hoppy. All in all okay.

(33cl swing top bottle, bought at the brewery) Hazy, orange to golden colour with a medium-sized, slightly off-white foamy head. Yeasty, moderately sweet malty aroma with a whiff of herbal hops. Medium-sweet flavour, medium to light body with a crispy mouthfeel. Malty base with herbal and light yeasty accents from the beginning with a touch of barnyard; finishes malty, moderately bitter with a herbal hoppy touch. Pretty drinkable unfiltered version of their Export.

(swing top bottle, bought at the brewery) Hazy, murky amber colour with a huge and quite persistent beige foamy head. Dusty, sweet and moderately sour fruity (dried prunes) aroma with hints of caramel. Moderately sweet flavour, light to medium bodied, quite smooth carbonation for a Hefeweizen. Rather one-dimensional malt-accented, slightly fruity taste; malty, slightly yeasty and fruity finish. Okay, but not as convincing as their pale Hefeweizen.

(swing top bottle, bought at the brewery) Hazy, orange colour with a big, persistent foamy white head. Dusty, sweet banana-fruity and slightly wheaty aroma with a dense sourish touch. Moderately sweet and minimal sour flavour, light to medium bodied with a spritzy carbonation. Wheaty and yeasty taste with banana; finishes slim, fruity and yeasty with shy hints of cloves and a well-balanced and refreshing, but mild sourness. Pleasant to drink Hefeweizen.

Dusty, moderatey sweet malt aroma, also slightly bready with mainly herbal but also some floral hoppy notes. Sweet-bitter flavour, medium to light body, well-carbonated, crispy carbonation. Malt-accented taste with balanced herbal hops; quite sweet malty, light bitter finish. Solid Export.

Slightly sweet malty, slightly grainy aroma with shy citrus-fruity accents and herbal hops in the background. Light-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy carbonation. Initially malty, grainy taste with light herbal notes; dry and moderately bitter, slightly hoppy finish. Clean and drinkable, but also one-dimensional Pilsener.

(swing top bottle, bought at the brewery) Clear, mahogany colour with a medium-sized foamy beige head. Earthy, slightly sweet aroma of dark malt, moderately roasted with caramel. Bitter flavour, medium to light body with a lively carbonation. Slightly roasted malty taste with dark chocolate and shy herbal notes; flattens extremely in the finish, which is quite bitter, but most of all slim and short with a touch of metal.

(33cl swing top bottle, bought at the brewery) Clear, yellow to golden colour with a nice foamy white head, leaving some lace. Sweet citrus-fruity, slightly artificial and not very beery. Very sweet and unbalanced fruity taste, light bodied, crispy mouthfeel; finishes sweet and citrousy and slightly tart. Might be refreshing in the summertime for someone else.
