Description
In 1872 Friedrich Eder, the founder of the brewery, acquired the brewery and restaurant "Zum Ochsen", which has been known since 1779. This was the nucleus of today's brewery in Grossostheim. In the following decades the company grew steadily.
Since 1999 the Schlappeseppel beers are brewed here.

Bottled. Golden colour small white head. Aroma is sweet malts, mild floral and grassy notes as well. Flavour is sweet malts, mild floral notes as well as some herbal and earthy notes. Quite pleasant. Rich carbonation.

Bottled. Goldeny yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is bready malts, some slight sweet notes as well as mild herbal and grassy notes. Flavour is quite much the same. Not very exciting, but a drinkable pils.

Bottle 500ml. @ HenrikSoegaard Sommerhus Tasting - Handrup Strand.ABV: 5.0%. Clear medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, grain, light hoppy, green grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, green grass, chalk, sour malt notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20110626]
