A colour isn’t an amber but more like dark orange. A head is big and blond. Aroma has citrusfruits, flowers and some caramel. Taste has the same elements than in the aroma, citrusfruits and flowers, slow bitterness that is quite mild but that’s enough for this body. Light bodied, strong carbonation that’s slightly harsh. Interesting flowers that are balanced but otherwise, quite decent beer.

Zwart bier bier met schuim. Smaak is bitter en krachtig, koffie, chocolade en rook overheersen. Verder een lichte fruitige bijsmaak van kersen en vanille. Erg goed, Klasse!

(Keg at Kaisla, 20160401) The beer poured deep amber and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had creamy melted butter, fruitiness and sweetness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were fruitiness, sweetness, creamy butter, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy and bitter. A suprisingly messy and unclean brew. A keg gone bad?
