Can, at Patricks. A black one, topped by a dense finger thick tan head. Lacing. The aroma has a pleasant coffee twist, with burnt malts, roasted malts and a hint of dark dried fruits. Hints of alcohol. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and softly carbonated, with a malty sweetness. Coffee, roasted malts, alcohol and a touch of prunes and bonfire in the flavor. Lasting finish. Sure a breakfast beer. 200727

Drukket på Bergstua. Svart. Kjempehøyt tett lysebrunt skum som daler veldig sakte og etterlater pene filigranser. Lovende start! Sammensatt aroma: Karamell, malt og litt kaffe. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken mest kaffe. Tørr avslutning. Ble nok overdose kaffe etter hvert.

440ml can bought at Gulating in Bodø. Shared with Esben. Chalk white head, hazy golden body, rings of lace down the glass. Promising smell of citrus and bread-like malts. Hop fruity taste of mandarin and citrus shells. Ends with a touch of fruity bitterness. Soft on the swallow. Pretty good. (Bodø Panorama 26.06.2020).

Can. An unclear pale orange colored beer with a nice white head. Some curtains. The aroma has lots of orange, with grapefruit in a supporting role. Some grass, pine cones and pale malts too. It's medium to full-bodied, nicely carbonated and with a decent bitterness. Mostly on the dry side, with little malty sweetness left. Not much pale malts flavor either, it's the orange and grapefruit that pulls the load. Long finish. A really pleasant thirst quencher, both refreshing and tasteful. 200623

Can from Patricks. Black body under a medium sized, lacing beige head. Aroma is promising with dark malt and quite strong quality coffee. Taste is rather sweet, dark malt, lots of nice coffee flavor, hint of dark chocolate and pronounced bitterness in-between hoppy bitter and bitter coffee. Fina body and long-lasting aftertaste with sweet malt and coffee. A fine coffee stout, perhaps a bit one dimensional but it really doesn’t matter when tasting nice like this.

Patricks 270520. Black color with a brown head. Aroma is coffee, roasted malt. Flavor is coffee, roasted melt, sugar, molasses, pine, oats, grapefruit. Very nice beer.

440ml can, delivery from Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsdalen. A snow white head remaining over a hazy golden body. Rings of lace down the glass. Moderate aroma of ripe citrus, hints of peaches. Fresh fruity taste of lemony hops and juicy malts. Mid-dry fruity finish with rounded bitterness. Pretty good. (Tromsø 30.05.2020).
