200ml, as Black Crow Lager, 4.7% abv, on tap at the brewpub. Patchy surface, spotty lacing. Deep rosewood coloured body. Sweet brown malty aroma. Roasted grainy flavours with hints of dark chocolate. Bittersweet malty ending. Medium bodied. Pleasing as a fairly typical version of the style (Oslo 06.08.2013).

200ml draught, 5.5% abv, from the six pack menu at the brewpub. Next to clear, dark amber coloured body. Sparse beige head and scattered lacing to the glassware. Mild sweet fruity on the nose, herbal dry. Blended flavours of peach-like fruits and grainy malts. On the sweet side of bittersweet finish. Accepted (Oslo 06.08.2013).

200ml on tap from the six pack menu at the brewpub. Grey-gold coloured body. Spotty lacing, no head. Fresh bittersweet nose, wheaty fruits and snapshots of peach and lemon. Rather succulent taste of pineapple, peach, and lemon added by a spicy touch and with wheat beneath. Fine bitter ending. An interesting and well made brew (Oslo 06.08.2013).

Appearance: Hazy yellow color with a creamy white head. Fine lacing.
Aroma: Hoppy, fruity, yeast and mild wheat.
Palate: Medium + body. Tady sweet and a fine bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Fruity, yeast, citric and some wheat.
Overall impression: Lovely tasty ale.

On tap at Crowbar (Black Crow Lager). Dark mahogany with a small off-white head. Atoma of roasted malt with traces of hops and hints of coffee and chocolate. Medium body and quite average carbonation. Surprisingly flavourful for such a low ABV beer. Nice one. Well balanced and easy drinkable.
