Appearance: Clear nutty brown color with a small tan layer that leaves some lacing.
Aroma: Slightly sweet caramel malty and a bit fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Slightly sweet and a mild bitterness. Average carbonation.
Taste: Round mild malty sweetness and a nice spicy tail.
Overall impression: More strange stuff please. I have read the story from the brewer. And it turned out ok, although it went wrong.

On tap at Crowbar. Now we’re talking. Three of my favourite hops; amarillo, centennial and citra. Lovely hoppy and fruity aroma with tropical fruits, pine and citrus against a malty background with some caramely notes. Very well balanced and easy to drink. Moderate sweet with lots of hoppy flavours, citra seem to slightly dominating. Finishes slightly dry and less bitter than expected, but this was a nice surprise. Need more of this! My favourite brew from Crowbar so far.

On tap at Crowbar. Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Aroma of caramel, malt, spices,dried fruits with hints of hops and some earthy notes. Quite sweet with a spicy caramel flavour and a balanced bitterness in the finish. Strange brew indeed, but quite nice.

On tap at Crowbar. Clear golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with hints of crackers, caramel and herbs. Moderate sweet with a nice bitterness in the finish. Medium body. Pleasant. Nice and sessionable. Decent bitter! (2013-04-20)

Small white head. Clear deep amber body. Spicy caramelly aroma with earthy notes. Sweet earthy spicy taste with musty old cellar notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish cinnamon and earth aftertaste with peppery musty papery notes. Did they leave this one on too long? Not good. (0.2l draft at Crow Bar, Oslo.)

Small beige head. Hazy opaque deep red body. Deep fruity spicy aroma with wild berry notes. Dry-sweet fruity spicy wild berry taste with earthy dusty notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, dusty mouthfeel. Dryish dusty mealy dried fruit aftertaste with spicy earthy notes. Lovely aroma, but taste is bit odd, with the earthy, almost acidic finish. Quite nice even so. (0.4l draft at brewpub.)

Small offwhite head. Clear amber body. Light perfumy dried fruit aroma with mealy gingery notes. Dry-sweetish gingery herbal taste with mealy fruity notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish gingery dried fruit aftertaste with coriander and spice notes. Nice, drinkable, perhaps a bit exaggerated spice. (0.2l draft at brewpub.)
