At the Colony Meadery at the Book Store. Poured a yellow color, still. Aroma was light cinnamon, clove, other assorted notes. Flavor was light notes of "Christmas" - cloves, light cinnamon. Interesting.

At the Colony Meadery at the Book Shop. Poured a ruby red color, mostly clear. Aroma was light berry, mild sweet honey notes. Flavor was light berry, with some dry honey notes.

At the Colony Meadery at the Book Store. Poured a clear maybe slightly more dark yellow color, still. Aroma was very light fresh shaved ginger, sweet honey notes. Light ginger ale character. Crisp, and tasty.

At the Colony Meadery at the Book Store. Poured a clear yellow color, mostly still. Aroma was light mint notes, touch of faint lime zest. Flavor was very mild citrus, mint julep kind of muddled mint notes. Light dry honey finish. Interesting.

At the Colony Meadery. Poured a clear yellow color, perhaps a little carbonation in this one, but mostly still. Aroma was light birch beer notes, sweet vanilla. Flavor was pleasant cream soda notes. Really tasty.

Draft at the Colony Meadery. Poured a totally clear, still yellow color. No head. Aroma was solid, standard honey wine. Light sweetness, very little alcohol heat, which was a bit of a surprise. Nice and tasty.

Bottle in my swag from judging Mead Free. Brilliantly clear deep yellow with a smattering of bubbles when poured but no visible signs of carbonation. Semi sweet citrusy floral honey notes. Clean well made mead that I enjoyed sipping on most of the night.

Bottle sample @ Troy’s Bday tasting @ Stein & Vine. Cuivrée, huileux au verre. Arôme au bouquet assez doux, avec une note moyenne de framboise et un léger rétro cacao. Palais est mielleux, fruit de framboise ajoutant une fine note terreuse mais contrebalancée par une pointe de vanille. Retrouve presque une douceur de rose, fleuri sur la fin. Retrouve pas spécialement le côté cacao.

Bottle at Mead Market, Portland; synthetic cork; 16% ABV
Pale blond color. The aroma is mildly fruity, light honey, fresh. Sweet, full bodied, the chili hotness is moderate, just the right amount, and the flavor is lightly fruity.
Very nice.
