The Lucky Lab consists of two brewpubs (Hawthorne & Quimby)and two satellite pubs in Portland. You can expect a casual atmosphere, very affordable beer and food, without the distractions of lottery, pool tables, etc.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a near-black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out faint roasted malt and a dry hoppy counterbalance. Flavour is very harsh, with burnt cigarette-like notes, a little hops and some roast. Very harsh to the extent of being undrinkable. Not good at all. Drainpour.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is weak, with some light cocoa and maybe a little weak roast. Flavour is weak as fuck, really weak and watery. Goddamn is this bad. Weak and watery palate. Quite terrible shit.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a clear golden with a tiny head. Aroma of bready malt and some dry hops. Flavour is dry, full of dry crackery malt and astringent hops. Pretty boring beer, with nothing interesting about this. Meh.

Hellraiser ESB from Lucky Labrador Brewing Company

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a clear bronze with no head. Aroma and flavour is really weak and bland, with astringent hops and British metallic malt. Pretty harsh off-notes making this pretty undrinkable. Quite bad.

Crazy Ludwigs Alt from Lucky Labrador Brewing Company

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a hazy golden orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate astringent hops above anything. Flavour is on the hoppy side for an alt, with dry bready malt and dry citrus hops. Pretty weak and uncomplex. Not very good.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a dark mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma of toasted nuts, soft dark fruits, and German lager yeast. Flavour reveals weak notes of toasted nuts, German lager yeast and bready malt. Another weak and shitty beer by this brewery. Not good at all.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a hazy bronze with a small beige head. Aroma of skunky herbal hop notes, not a whole lot else. Flavour is soapy, full of detergent and other such soapy hops. Really quite nasty. Not very drinkable at all.

Bavarian Crystal Weizen from Lucky Labrador Brewing Company

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out clove, banana, and spices. Flavour is quite spicy with clove, followed by banana and bready malt. Doesn't seem filtered at all. Weird stuff - not so good.

On tap at Lucky Labrador, pours a clear dark copper with no head. Aroma is basically non-existent. Flavour brings out notes of detergent and other poor soapy hop notes. Pretty nasty stuff. Not drinkable.
