330ml bottle from Carrefour, Hazebrouck. Pours a hazed golden amber, thin bubbly white head. Aroma brings malt, light citrus hop. Below average session IPA, minimal hop presence, light citrus touch. Boring.

Old rating - A 330ml bottle from L'Epicerie Quintinaise, Quintin, Brittany a year or so ago. Pours dark amber verging on brown with a white foamy head. Aromas & tastes of chestnut & hints of coffee. Sweet & malty in the mouth. A medium bitter finish with touches of herbs. Very enjoyable Vienna lager.

Al naso l'aroma rimanda al fruttato. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e l'esistenza olfattiva è sufficiente. Il mantello birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta nuvoloso. Il colore è giallo dorato torbido. Il corpo è medio. L'amaro è nella norma. La forza gustativa è normale e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di miele, biscotto, frutta secca, pane cotto di recente, un accenno di resinoso, erbaceo e agrumi.

nose is grassy with dull hops, and wet paper. FLavor is pungent, and smacks of wet paper, and cardboard. There is an odd bitterness that isn’t very pleasant. Let’s just call this what it is.....a bad lager they tried to gussy up with advertising CHESTNUT flour!?!?! why in the world would that be appealing or used in making a beer? PASS!

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è giallo dorato carico. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta note di miele, cereali e castagna.

Il mantello birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido è di apparenza velata e anche qui la grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine, con carbonazione allegra e vivace. Il colore è giallo dorato brillante. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è nella media. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di facile beva. Il finale è semplice e dissetante. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sulla lingua si percepiscono sentori di miele, crosta di pane, cereali, erba e agrumi.

Il mantello birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è a grana medio-fine. Il liquido è di aspetto velato. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di bollicine fini. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è deciso. La forza gustativa è elevata e la persistenza è buona. Il gusto è piacevole. Il finale è amarognolo. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. Sul palato si attestano sentori di miele, frutta secca, luppolo, agrumi, pompelmo rosa e ananas.
