Sampled from a 12 oz clear bottle this beer poured a murky dark purple color with a large foamy light purple head that lingered and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was sweet Concord grape juice. The flavor was sweet Concord grape juice. Long finish. Medium body. Tasty.

Pretty good, but I'd rather be in semi-cold Germany than bloody-freezing Wisconsin.

12 ounce bottle from the brewery, 9/9/16. Hazy yellow amber, thin fizzy off-white head that fades almost immediately. Aroma of doughy, nutty malts, rice, a bit of citrus. The taste is bready malt, sorghum, rice, lemon, soy. Thin. Kind of a mess. Gonna give them a little bit of benefit of doubt, though, cause sorghum beers are never good. Fiftieth traditional ale rating!
