Bottled - tasted blind. A hazy amber beer with a thin lazing orangey head. The aroma is sweet malty with notes of caramel and over ripe fruits, but also a hint of acidity. The flavor is sweet amlty with notes of caramel as well as an acidic tart horseblanket note. How can a BW turn out like this?

From bottle #22 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours deep amber and brown with a fully diminished off-white head. Fruity and slight spiced aroma. Flavour is dark caramelish and light spiced. Lingering fruity and spiced finish. Again with a persisting caramel flavour.

Thanks Santa! Dark brown color with a reddish tint, bubbly head. Aroma is dark caramel with a bit of dusty cocoa and dark figgy fruits. Light body, at least for a doppel, but its still a really nice.

Dark brown and relatively flat-looking. Nutty, slightly chocolatey nose. Fudgey, nutty taste is slightly syrupy. Really thin. Please just call it some other kind of stout and it will be viewed more favourably.

Reddish-brown colour. Smokey, lightly peaty nose with lots of caramel. Lots of smoke, a fair bit of caramel. Some brown sugar notes. The body is fairly light for style, and the overall presentation is somewhat simple.

Listed as IPA Squared, on tap at Lucky Baldwins. Pours with a large, creamy, off-white head covering a clear amber body. Good retention left by the head. Aroma is malty and a bit spicey with a bit of grapefruit zest and earthy hops. A bit of wheat and caramel too. Taste is very malty with a couple notes of something that reminds me of rye. Lightly hoppy. Very odd tasting DIPA. Syrupy mouthfeel with light carbonation and a pleasant aftertaste.

Pours black with a nutty head. Aroma is very sweet and sugary (licorice), lightly roasted with a good touch of coffee. ABV at 7.9% is slightly low for a Russian Imperial Stout. A good beer none the less.
