Originally rated December 2002. Lightly golden with good white head. Medium hop scent, smooth mouthfeel and thin bodied. Bitter taste with light dry finish. Nice refreshing beer, but still was expecting more from this one.

Unpleasant lager with a poor malty finish. Sadly its widely distributed in southern Africa.

Aroma is harsh burnt hops and sour malts. Okay yellow body, decent head. Flavour is caramel, burnt malt, some vague hops. Weak mouthfeel. Would probably work on a hot day in South Africa, but that’s about it.

Found at a Ma Maison supermarket in Kolwezi, DR Congo. Aroma is of nice sour apples, apperance is a slightly green body with little head. Flavour is just as the bottle says: clean & dry apple taste. Good mouthfeel. Maybe it’s just me thirsty in the Congo, but I quite like this one.

Super light clear golden coloured body with hardly any head at all. Aroma of citrus, light malt, a touch of very very small hops, a little sweetness and not much of anything else. Light-bodied; Sweet and floral taste at first with some apples and pear flavours coming soon afterward - relatively sweet and mild. Aftertaste shows some funkier malt with a little deep pungent flavour and some metallic notes. Overall, a pretty standard pils, perhaps on the bottom half of the chart - not great. I sampled this 33 cL can purchased at the Skukuza Rest Camp in Kruger National Park, near Nelspruit, South Africa on 21-August-2011 sampled at home in Washington on the other side of the planet on 23-December-2011 a few days before leaving to go back to South Africa on holiday.
