Hey, my first S. Africa rating, thanks Sebastian. Pours mahogany with thin tan head. The aroma is somewhat assertive with rich dark fruit like prunes and plums to go along with black licorice and hints of dark malt roastiness. The taste is neutral to start and then picking up a mix of sweet dark fruitiness, a touch of caramel and a mild level of dark roasted malts.

33cl bottle in Ghana. This one is brewed in Ghana by Accra Brewery under SAB license. pours brown, creamy head. aroma and flavors, caramel malts, creamy lactose and light chocolate, nutty palate with a lactic finish. Nice creamy body with hints of mocha. Light mouthfeel with hints of bitterness and caramel in the finish. Definitely the best beer to have in Ghana along with the Ghanaian Guinness. Depending of how cold the bottle is, the lactic touch can often come as a bit off.

Straw colour. Thin head. Straw malts and spicy hops on the nose. Watery with that same straw and spice on the palate. A water straw-dough finish. Clean example, not as bad as I was expecting, really.

Bottled 625ml. -Ghana version. Almost black coloured, medium sized pale brown head, very pleasant chicory chocolate nose. Mild roasted malt, chocolate and coffee with strong and unpleasant metallic notes near the end. Begins well but the finish is huge letdown. Pitty.
