Can. Black beer with tall tan head that diminishes. Strong aroma of molasses, caramel, roasted malts, milk chocolate, smoke. Sweet flavor with notes of sugar, caramel and sweetened milk with notes of chocolate. Finish turns dry and slightly bitter and last awhile. Thin body and watery texture.

Tin from friend. Aroma of maize, pale barley. Pale colour, small fast moving head. Looks like an industrial beer. Weak flavour, more maize than barley. Tastes like an industrial beer. Metallic finish, perhaps the can was too old, perhaps it’s just that I seldom drink beer from cans. There was a time when I drank this daily, and enjoyed it. I don’t know if it was the African heat, or it was better in those days. It’s better than Miller Lowlife, but not much better. This beer should stay in Seffrica, and not be drunk there.

Can, brewed at Tanzanian Breweries. Golden, with a small, white head. Mild, mostly floral aroma, and a thin flavor of malt and some hops. Thin body, and a bitter and metallic finish. Quite boring, and not too pleasant. (060604)

Bottle. Slightly sour barley malt aroma. LIght golden yellow color with small head and slight effervescence. Slightly sweet barley malt flavor with little hops - mild tasting. Nice taste and balance but nothing special - a typical pale lager.

Can (by MoritzF): Fruity-grainy nose with a light hoppy aroma and a touch of iron; golden coloured, bigger fluffy head, slowly diminishing; faint bitterness on a delicate sweet-malty base, extremely light-bodied; short, faint sweetish-bitter finish. Refreshing, but watery....................

Can (sponsored by MoritzF !): Almost black coloured, small but stable brownish foamy layer, lacing; delicate nose: roast-malt, milk-coffee with a faint fruitiness; bitter-sweetish flavour with a very faint acidity, soft MF, quite light bodied for a beer of 6.0% ABV; roast-malty, a bit fruity finish with a delicate, but lingering bitterness in the aftertaste. Quite good and pleasant.....there are worse beers from SABMiller.........

Can (thanks, MoritzF): Clear, pale golden, mid-sized stable fluffy white head; grainy nose; light sweetish flavour, light bodied to watery; a faint citrousy fruitiness in the short finish, illusion of bitterness in the aftertaste...... Bland !
