12 oz. bottle, bonsu'd from tstockstrom (thanks Chuck), pours an opaque dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma is typical for a pumpkin ale, with nutmeg, cinnamon and pumpkin puree. Flavour matches accordingly, with the spices and puree being equally dominant. Very standard, drinkable pumpkin ale. But since I'm not a fan of this type of beer generally, I can't exactly say it's enjoyable. OK.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Pours a dark ruby brown appearance with a light brown head. Dark chocolate, caramel, molasses, fig, plum, rich malty aroma. Kind of chewy, caramel, toffee, a touch nutty, light vanilla, chocolate, thick malty flavor. Kind of a like eating a Carmello. One of my favorites from Mothers so far.

Bottle @ home, courtesy of jcnielsen. Thanks Justin! Not to be too picky, but the label on the bottle was crooked and it seemed to be poured awfully high. Anyhow, it pours a hazy orange appearance with a somewhat small, off-white head. Kind of chewy malty, lightly spicy, a bit zesty, lemon citrusy aroma. Light cardboard, lemon/grapefruit citrusy, dull bready flavor that’s well carbonated. Really not a whole lot going on. Bleh.

Bottle @ home, thanks to jcnielsen. Thanks Jetson! Pours a dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Smells kind of old- bready, herbal hoppy, citrusy aroma. Quite strong, juicy orange citrusy, sugary, very rich malty flavor with booze on the finish. Not sure if this is just old but it tastes just overdone.

Shaker pint draft at Martin City Brewing Company in Martin City, Missouri. The pour is mostly clear golden yellow, with a well formed 1/2 inch white head. The aroma is bready, caramel sweet malt, along with some nice resin hops. The taste is the bready, sweet malt of the nose, paired nicely on top of a touch of resin hop bitterness. The malt is the main character, with solid support from the hops. The palate is light to medium bodied, nice active carbonation and a clean dry finish. Easy drinking Oktoberfest, nice to enjoy this one outside on a beautiful evening.
