Sampled on draft at the meadery this mead poured a murky dark brown color. The aroma was coffee, vanilla and sugar. The flavor was sweetish with brewed coffee and some vanilla. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Interesting.

Sampled on draft at the meadery this mead poured a dark amber color. The aroma was sweetish honey, tannin and a hint of berry. The flavor was tannin, dryish and a bit of toffee and wood. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing.
