Every day we work to source the most local, pure, organic and fresh ingredients to craft our meads. To us, ‘local’ is not just a buzz word - it’s our guiding principle. Local makes our mead the highest quality. Local supports our beekeepers and farmers. Local means integrating spirits from Ohio, local art and music into our Meadery & Bar located in the heart of Columbus. Local is what makes us distinct.

Sample at the tasting room. Pours a hazy yellow color with minimal legs on the glass. Habanero pepper aroma. Full-bodied with an intensely hot habanero pepper flavor, with slight honey behind it. The finish is peppery with a lingering spicy aftertaste. Didn’t ruin my evening like some of the ghost chili beers have but there is still no way I could drink a full glass of this.

Sample at the tasting room. This Mead is a clear pale yellow-gold color with a minimal head and slippery legs. Aroma of licorice and honey. Medium to full body with flavors of anise, honey and herbs. The finish is sweet with a black licorice aftertaste. Not as good as Kuhnhenn’s Black Jelly Bean but still enjoyable.
