Tap at Komachi. Dry grapefruit nose, leather, oak, light yogurt notes. Very creamy and lactic flavor, leather, old books, grapefruit juice and pith, oak tannins. Dry finish. Nice. Not too tannic like some of the earlier foeder beers were.

AJB X Mikkeller Apres Kolsch 5% Matte gold with an eggshell white wisp of foam and a fragrant floral hop bouquet with crackery pale malts. The taste was floral hops up front then a touch grassy and herbal but with the crackery fresh bread type maltiness: very bright and refreshing. Based on the name I’m guessing this is supposed to be an after ski sipper.

Tap. Bright, deep gold with a low head. Bright nose of citra, biscuity malt. Oily, sweet, citrusy flavors, quite estery too. Seems like British yeast. Good.
