On tap at MBCC 2023, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is fairly neutral, with toasted malt and a hint of barrels. Flavour is barrel-dominated, with light oak, medium roast and light earthiness. Clean but not particularly complex or interesting. Decent.

Draft at MBCC 2023, Yellow session. Poured a clear dark brown colour with a lasting frothy light tan head. The aroma is roasty malt, light caramel. The flavour is moderate sweet, with a smooth, rich, slightly oily, dry, earthy, oaky palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft at MBCC 2023, Yellow session. Poured a light yellow colour with a thin white head. The aroma is malt and lager yeast. The flavour is moderate bitter, light sweet, with a fresh, crisp, light malt, light sweet citrus hop palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation.

Tap. Black color with beige head. Aroma is chocolate, bready, caramel, not overdone in the barrel character. Taste is the same, delicate almost, sweet caramel and vanilla. Oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Tasty, though almost a bit one-dimensional.
