Slight haze. Medium white head. Light fruitiness, grapey, has sweet malt, low bitterness for style but the pale malts are too doughy to really work for me.

Cloudy pale. Crisp, grapefruit, orchard fruits, berries...nice hops, touch of good, healthy yeastiness, and a well balanced pale malt character. Big time pintable.

Bright, amber, has a mellow melony hop with a hit of grapefruit. Has a mellow character. Hops and similar and the light caramel malts provide good balance. Good 90s style pale.

Cask @ Beer Belly Tenma. Dull amber, drops fairly bright. No head. Fresh, fruity and quite herbal. Distinctive herbal note but I just can’t put my finger on it. Decent brew, heavy on the herbs but with enough bitterness to pull it through. Cask was a bit flat...would have been better if not for that.

Very cloudy, thin head. Extra yuzu, lots of milky yeast. Tart-sweet yuzu overlaid on a base of sweet, yeasty tripel that doesn’t really taste like tripel.

Quite dark. Has a lot of vanilla, like the milky canned coffee you get in Japan. A bit flat off the cask. Not really to my taste.

Medium brown, thin head. Has a nice roasty, hoppy nose. Chocolatey and sweetish, not that hoppy on the palate. Mellow, balanced.

Bottle. Dark brown with a beige head. 3 Gentle roasted malt aroma with chicory, vanilla, some chocolate. Light bodied. Roasted malt (and barley?), coffee, dark bread. Lowish bitterness. Low key but pleasant enough.

Amber w touch of haze . Has a lot of caramel malts, rich grapefruit hop, lots of alcohol. Old school, quite strong, just infinitely chewy.
