330ml bottle bought at Meny Oslo City. Golden body, slightly hazy. Tiny layer at the top. Fragile lace. Smell of dry fruits and pale malts. Wheat mingled with mild lemony hops and pineapples. Dry and modest fruit bitter ending. Soft in the mouth. Refreshing (hotel room, Oslo 11.12.2012).

Medium offwhite head doesn’t last. Hazy opaque deep yellow body. Was clear initially, until I poured in the muck at the bottom of the bottle. Spicy herbal aroma with toffee notes. Dry-sweet funky earthy toffee taste with herbal notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, mealy mouthfeel. Dryish herbal plastic aftertaste with mealy yeasty notes. It’s not bad, but it’s not really very good, either. (0.33l bottle, Meny Oslo City.)

33cl bottle from Meny, Oslo City. Pours slightly hazy golden with a small white head. Lightly malty aroma with fruits, citrus and hints of yeast and herbs. Surpringly well balanced and easy to drink. Fruity and lightly sweet with a very pleasant bitter and citrussy finish. More flavourful and hoppy than expected and a very decent lager.

Rerate, 330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Now brewed at Røros. ABV is 4.7%. Very pale straw colour, hazy. Moderate white head. Strong yeasty aroma, with notes of diverse spices. Citrussy, yeasty and spicy flavour, fairly dry, light bodied. Some hoppy bitterness in the aftertaste. Original rating: 330 ml bottle, many thanks to Ole Richard. ABV is 4.7%. Cloudy golden colour, moderate white head. Fruity (citussy) and yeasty aroma, nearly wheatbeer-like. The flavour is also citrussy, yeasty and slightly spicy, in a blind test I might have guessed that it was a wheatbeer, not a Kölsch (well, the recipe also includes wheat). Very refreshing. I liked this one! Are the other raters too concerned about style, or did they drink it too young?
