Description
10 Barrel Brewing was founded by three fellas in Bend, Oregon in 2006 who wanted to brew beer, drink beer and have a ton of fun while doing so. 10 years later and we're still following suit. Whether we're shredding the mountain, drinking cold ones by the fire after work or floating down the river. We always have fun with a beer in hand.

Bottle at Chriso tasting (thanks initially to Bird) 18/11/12. Lightly hazed dark amber with a thin off white head that clears to the edges and forms a film. Mose is malts, toffee and a little spice. Tastes of toffee, malts, caramel - a little bland and muted in flavour. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. Ok.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy orange with a medium white head. Aroma of intense piney hops, some lemon zest, and a thin malt backbone - amazing aromatics. Flavour is very zesty and hoppy, with loads of citrus zest and piney hops, and light biscuity malt backbone barely distinguishable. Loads of complexity for a IIPA, with lots of hops and zesty notes. Excellent example of the style.

Light to medium sweet flavor, smooth, with dry grass, yeast, light sugars, dry citrus. Light to medium bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Faintly drying to finish with lemon rind and other dry citrus. Good.

On tap at Bailey's Taproom, pours a cloudy murky orange with a medium white head. Aroma of light cinnamon and light sour fruits. Flavour of sour light fruits, barely discernible cinnamon. Pretty light and unassuming, but not very compelling. Decent, but nothing special.

GBBF. Hazy amber - gold beer, few white bubbles. Palate is light and dry and fairly fresh. A little fresh hops sting with dry pale malt underneath. Mild citrus on the back end - which is dry. Fresh and decent but too dry.
