Sample at the taproom. This beer pours a clear yellow-gold color with a medium thin white head that recedes steadily to a film. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of mild hops, fruit and biscuit malt. Light-bodied with flavors of herbal hops, fruit and bready malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a grassy hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

Ho hum. Weak and subdued tripel, mot much in the aroma, and overly sweet taste. Pass.....

Tap - well, this is about as one-dimensional as a beer like this can be - this mostly tastes like green raisins, candi sugar, and light grassiness - very mild esters - there is nothing particularly flawed about this; it’s just boring as hell - if I am going to ingest this much alcohol (listed as 10.5), I’d better get a complex beer that inspires slow, contemplative sipping - this ain’t it, an in this respect, not a ton separates this from malt liquor.
