Bottle: Poured a dark black colored beer with an average bubbly head with standard retention. Aroma is really great with a nice mix between roastiness and coffee. Taste is OK with some nice touch of roasted malts and coffee. The aftertaste is dry without too much of the watery feeling you get with Guinness. Overall, a good stout but nothing too much out of the ordinary.

Clear dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Sweet malts and chocolate aroma. Sweet chocolate, slightly smokey beer with peat moss character, slightly lactic. Very nice bodied stout.

This nice stout poured a huge tan head. Nice aromas of caramel, molasses and roasted malts with a slight touch of cocoa. Small amount of yeast. First taste was a litle over-carbonated for a stout and had a rich smokey flavour to it. I could taste the small amount of yeast that I smelt before. I could almost taste charcoal. The finish was slightly watery with continuing smoke flavour.

Paid $1.19 for a 12 oz bottle. Slightly cloudy golden, no head. Smells like stereotypical beer. And hey! tastes like it too. Lotsa carbonation in the mouth, but, for this beer, almost seems like too much. Very unoriginal, boring brew to drink. Not bad, but nothing to tell your friends about either.

Weird, how did I forget this one? I even talk about it in other ratings. . .Well, 2002 and 2003 drafts have I sampled. Perfect pour, dark, thick rich creamy head. Even has a bit of roast and chocolate in it. Head is as good as the beer almost! deep deep chocolate vanilla liqueur sweetness, but mainly a dry roasty coffee/barley flavor. Big and tasty, it gets slightly sweeter in the middle and finishes with a chalky, mineral mouthfeel/flavor that I absolutely absolutely love. Screw guiness, I would drink this 10 times out of 10 over guiness.

Pours a good dark red to light burgundy. Small white head that is rapidly disappearing. Smells of soft ripe red fruits, some caramel. Opens up with a nice strong hops presence and a drier caramel malt and some darker candied red fruits. Ends very dry, maybe almost too dry. Light coffee maybe, more of a toffee. Moderate bitterness. Quite flavorful and good medium body, no thining at all. Carbonation leaves quickly with no problems.

Dark golden in colour, light amber perhaps. A thin white head tops the beer. Great aroma of honey, yeast, wheat, curacao and the freshness of coriander seed. Medium to Light-bodied; Subtle sweet flavours, while some potent spice and freshness finish the taste. Aftertaste of wheat predominantly, some sweetness though. A nice American styled wheat overall, worth a try! I had this 23 ounce beer served on draught at MacGregor's in Rochester, New York.

Tap. Yellow, slightly darker than a a bud. What little aroma I could pick up was that of a cheap beer, with no qualities standing out. Hardly any flavor, a little bitter in the finish. No qualities of a wheat beer in this one. Maybe there was nothing wrong with it, but certainly nothing to enjoy.

Pitch black body with a big, frothy, light brown head. Delicious, but quite weak, nose with roast malt and chocolate. Flavour is weak, but well balanced between a hops and chocolate bitterness and malt sweetness.

Pitch black in colour with a very dense brown head. The smell is very subtle, just like a normal irish stout. The flavour is great, although subdued. Definately a goo dall around beer that ranks almost on par with guinness.
