22nd May 2010. ChrisOs ’Blue Ridge Mountains Of Virginia’ tasting! Slightly hazy amber beer. Aged malt nose. Light semi dry palate. Toffee aged malt. Tired and uninteresting.

Bottle at Chris O’s. Amber pour white head. Toffee, caramel, butterscotch in the nose. Baked apple, coconut and caramel flavours. A little sweet. Hops and malts in the finish.

500ml bottle from an Irma store in Copenhagen. Deep amber body colour. Quickly diminishing off-white head. Discreet aroma of dark malts. Mid-sweet caramel malts in flavour, some candy sweetness and only a few hints of distant hops towards the ending. A lager in the direction of brown ale. Alright with the food, but no brainer (shared with Eva, Tromsø 01.04.2010).

50cl bottle. clear light brownish amber, fluffy yellowish light brown head. aroma is dry sourish, corn, faint caramel, very faint malts. flavor of metal, caramel,nuts, hay, grass, ends metallic bitter and sweet nutty.aftertaste is distinct metallic.

Bottle. Poured amber with a thin off-white head. Aroma had strong alcohol notes with some underlying caramel malt. There were strong alcohol notes as well in the flavor. Beer was very thick on the tongue.

Bottle. Poured a clear amber with a medium cream colored head. Aroma was weak with notes of grain and pine. Flavor was weak as well with some crisp hops and bready malts.
