Description
Founded in 2012, at Claim 52 Brewing we put a unique and inspired touch on every one of our small-batch brews. We pride ourselves on creating innovative beers that capture today’s evolving tastes that go beyond the hop-centric Northwest IPA. Our hazy, tropical-inspired brews and fruit-infused beers have won acclaim not just for their creativity, but for their taste, freshness and quality. We know beer lovers can get pretty attached to their favorites, so we make sure our lineup of brews includes some traditional Northwest-style IPAs, porters and other more familiar styles.

You can find us at two locations: Claim 52 Kitchen just south of downtown Eugene, and the Taproom, at our brewery on Tyinn Street just a mile west of the Kitchen. We also are on tap in select Northwest brewpubs and restaurants, and our distinctive 16-ounce four-packs are sold at various purveyors around the region.

16 oz can poured, purchased at Hop n Grape. Continuing a streak of affordable, high quality IPA's I picked up recently from the Southern WA, Oregon areas. No exception here. A slightly hazy golden orange pour with a rocky foam head. Pineapple like tropical hop aroma. Cool, juicy, pineapple hop bitter flavor going on. Quite a refreshing IPA. Flavor ends on a sweet and bitter pear, pineapple, grain. Fun, tasty, IPA a little on the unique side. Good stuff.

On tap at Saraveza for the 7th IIPA Festival, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out loads of piney hops upfront, followed by dry biscuity malt. Flavour is loaded with truckloads of piney hops upfront, with some cereal sweetness in the back. A piney and cereal bomb. Very nice.

Brick red with a medium head. Full of cherry, plum, light spice, booze, and lingering oak. Medium bodied. Too much wax (yes, this was frustrating enough to mention) on the neck. Other than that, a tasty brew.
