Tap at the Copenhagen Beer Celebration 2013. Poured a deep mahogany with a bubbly tan head . The aroma is big coffee leading to medium bitter liqourice flavour with roasted malt and dark chocolate. Highly drinkable and the lower ABV makes for a less bitter taste.

Tap at CBC 2013. Pours dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of dark fruit, malt and light chocolate. Flavor is light to moderate sweet and bitter. Light to medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Draft. A dark brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt and bread. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt and bread, as well as lighter notes of citrusy hops, leading to a bitter finish. The body is light.

Sampled @ CBC 2013. Slightly unclear yellow color, small to medium sized white head. Smell and taste malts, pretty bitter, bitter hops. Medium body and carbonation. I miss the fruityness.

Draught at CBC ’13. Opaque black liquid with medium tan head. Aroma of coffee, ash, chocolate, licorice and leather. Taste is dry and medium bitter with notes of ash, coffee and licorice. Medium bodied with low to medium carbonation. Pretty average IS.
