Taste is roasted malts, coffee, rich dark chocolate, light notes of licorice, berries and dark fruit. Medium body, soft carbonation. Nice and very easy drinking porter. 140112

Tap @ brewpub 82 Fu Xing Road West location. Pours slightly hazy dark amber with dense creamy offwhite head, lasting the hole glass and leaving nice lacings. Aroma of malt, oak, caramel, vanilla, berries. Taste is mild, complex and rather sweet with malt, caramel, sour cherries, blackberries, vanilla,dark, oak, nuts. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. licorice and aniseed on top if a light sourness and dryness. Lots of funk, but not the Brett and funk to make it so authentic. A touch of lemon grass in there I swear. Still very nice beer .
