An orange ale with a thin creamy moka head. A light caramel malt aroma with light c-hops, more like an APA, quite nice and smooth. A nice light malt with a nice mix of fruity esters and light hops. A surprise in China. On tap at Fu Xing brewpub, Oct. 24 2010.

Cloudy orange-amber. Loose, cask-like head. Very citrusy, juicy aroma with just a hint of pale malts. Has a cask mouthfeel. Juicy - rich, syrupy malts and sticky resinous hops. Bitter and herbaceous. Sticky finish is quite bitter, again with a mixed citrus accent.

Ruby-accented brown. Light toasty aroma with hints of earthiness. Clean, toasty with hints of molasses and sugar notes. American dunkel character but good stuff.

Very dark brown. Loose head. Grainy nose with crystal malt, light roast and a hint of chocolate. The oatmeal begins to emerge as it warms. Chocolate, light raisin, some oatiness. Deep espresso roast notes but as an accent, hey don¿ndt overwhelm. A bit thin, some alcohol notes that distract rather than enhance, but this is a nice brew. Interesting post-script...the body is thicker and more fruit comes out when this is consumed after a Pilsner. Cool.

Hazy orange-straw. Nice thick head. Thick wall of lacing down the glass. Rich hop aroma is full of resin, citrus and some fresh bready malts. Rich bitterness, pithy and long. Sticky icky icky. Good malt balance, though. Clean, rich and very moreish. A top-notch pilsner, even if it could just as easily be called an IPA.

This one is a "Brewer’s Choice", not the same as the dark mild that is considered to be a regular beer at Boxing Cat. Hazy amber-brown. Thin head. The aroma has light caramel, maybe some nuts and this contributes a little earthiness. Good body. Toasty, caramelly...full of life, with a quenching acidity late. Refreshing, with good malt complexity.
