Flaske (aug.13, bb. aug-18), delt med Einar i påskeferien-15: svart med tett skum som gir fine kniplinger. Torvrøkt whisky, kreosot og kaffe i aroma. Rugsyrlig smak med mørkbrent kaffe, vanilje og 80%-sjokolade. Tørr, brent ettersmak. Deilig, fet lakris mot slutten, når temperaturen hadde steget.

KRS111014. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, bread, oxidation. Flavour is roasted malt, bread, oxidation, nuts, alcohol, sugar, sourness, caramel, dried fruits. Full bodied nice beer.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Dark brown, small head. Milk chocolate aroma. Sweet with near full body and rounded, syrupy mouthfeel. Caramel and milk chocolate, heavy and syrupy. Some molasses. Some warmth in a mid bitter finish, Caramelly and unrefined.

Bottled. Slightly hazy deep golden colour with a slightly off-white head. Aroma is sweet malts, some wheat, zest and mild fruity and alcoholic notes as well. Flavour is caramel malts, some wheat, mild yeast, some alcohol as well as a nice floral and fruity finish.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is wheat, some citrus, mild sour wooden notes as well as some grains. Flavour is very similar with some nice tart berries as well. Quite mouthdrying palate in the finish. A quite pleasant wheaty saison.
